A Chance For Life May Fundraiser
We ushered in the next chapter of A Damn Good Life, now known as A Chance for Life Foundation.
Sip, Shop and Support
We had such an amazing afternoon at Tarin Thomas in New York City's West Village, sipping and shopping and helping breast cancer survivors in need. Tarin Thomas jewelry is handmade in New York and her store features a collection of jewelry, vintage clothing and local goods. A portion of the proceeds from the day's sales went to benefit A Damn Good Life.
A Damn Good Luau
Our first annual Damn Good Luau hosted by Hero Beach Club in Montauk was a huge success It's was family friendly affair, featuring a hula contest, drinks by Casa Del Sol and Montauk Brew Co, lite bites by Mike's Amagansett Seafood Shop, Rooted Montauk, Roberta's Pizza and Quiches & More along with clothing pop ups by Road to Nowhere Clothing and LALIRA. Our silent auction featured all of the best local businesses and artists, we raised $60,000 and had so much fun with our local Montauk community.
Damn Good Yoga Life x Bloomingdales
Co-Founder, Sarrah Strimel Bently led a Damn Good Yoga class at the iconic Bloomingdale's 59th Street flagship store with a live DJ experience by Kamau Preston. Our swag bags included items from Zen WTR, Scott's Protein Balls, Mindset Wellness and Loop. Afterwards, our attendees had the option to receive mini-facials from several beauty counters on the floor, thanks to our friends at Bloomingdale's.
A Damn Good Soiree
We launched A Damn Good Life with A Damn Good Soiree hosted by our friends at The Rockaway Hotel. We had family and friends join us from all over to celebrate creating A Damn Good Life. We had food and drinks provided by The Rockaway Hotel, Whits End Rockaway, Scott's Protein Balls, Pool Toy Rose, Montauk Brew Co and our good friend and board member Jon Krasner. Our live and silent auctions were epic, including four big trip packages, we raised $75,000 and danced well into the night.
